What are some good cars for someone who travels long distances frequently?
I live in a semi-secluded area of WA, and anywhere I go I would have to travel approx. 30-120 miles. I need a good, strong, reliable car with good gas mileage. Anyone have any suggestions?

Hybrids! Gas is outrageous. They make a civic, camery, accord, prius, Rh300, and escape all in hybrid.

From what i understand the best one that is not a hybrid, which can get pricey. Is a Toyota Corola, or Camery, (my spelling is awful) Anyways, those are the ones the hold their value the best.

My Honda Insight (2003) gets 54.5 miles to the gallon. It is small, so no room for more than one passenger, and not a lot of luggage, but it is comfy and I have really enjoyed driving it on long trips.

Anything with a diesel motor. They will give you great reliability and fuel mileage with less maintenance than a gas motor. I know vw used to offer some great products. I haven’t checked in a while.

A honda insight gets about 60 city mile to the gallon and 66 highway mile to the gallon. go to this web site to research. It also ranks 4 stars in crash test rateings. the second link is for safety. The safest car is probly the 2006 honda civic 4 door
